Adult patient presents with sore throat, muffled voice and drooling

Clinical differential diagnosis

Concern for deep neck infection/Epiglottitis

Findings

Neck CT:

There is swelling of the surpaglottic larynx with thickening of the epiglottis. There is no abscess.

Treatment

ENT consultation. Airway management. antibiotics/steroid therapy
