Patient presents with fever, headache, and nasal congestion.
Concern for sinus disease.
Sinus CT:
There are air-fluid levels within the maillary and sphenoid sinuses as well as mucosal thickening within the frontal and ethmoid sinuses.
Although these findings are not specific to acute sinusitis, given the correct clinical picture, acute sinusitis can be suggested.
If concerned for obstruction, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) may be considered.
Sinus air-fluid levels which may represent acute sinusitis.
